Health and Treatment Network:
In 1985, there were significant reforms made to the Iranian health system. Creating a national health network and combining the delivery of healthcare with medical education were two of these achievements. In every province, universities manage the district health and treatment networks. The highest level for the delivery of services related to public health and treatment is the Health and Treatment Network. This network collaborates with university headquarters to coordinate the operations of rural and urban health centers.
District Health Centers:
The District Health Centers are in charge of providing primary healthcare and treatment services within the district.
Regular inspections, supervision, and assessment of the quality of services provided in the health and treatment units Health Education Programs in the areas of illness prevention and control, oral and dental health, workplace health, school health, family planning and health, and the gathering of health data and statistics Multidisciplinary collaboration. Currently, Tehran Province has 75 health districts, 10 of which are located in Tehran District and are run by the Baqiyatallah University of Medical Sciences.
