The Baqiyatallah University of Medical Science offers medical, graduate, undergraduate, and related degree programs. Our programs are designed for all levels: med school, residency, and practicing physicians.

Graduate Programs
The University of Baqiyatallah Medical Science offers a number of graduate programs leading to the Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees. Our graduate programs in biomedical sciences provide training for careers in academia as well as the public and military sectors. More than 300 faculty members serve as mentors to our PhD students. We consider you an undergraduate applicant if you have graduated from high school and are applying to one of the above-mentioned degrees.
Education that Changes the Practice of Medicine
At the Baqiyatallah University of Medical Science, we want students with a curious mind—a drive to know more—who are ready to practice medicine and devote their lives to service, care, research, and leadership. For seven years, MD students are trained extensively in anatomy, physiology and clinical pathophysiology. Our students learn professionalism and leadership skills, interact with patients, and directly deliver care even before they graduate.
Postgraduate Medical Training
Postgraduate medical training programs, including residencies, are offered through all the clinical departments at BMSU and the affiliated training hospitals such as Baqiyatallah mega hospital, Najmieh and Jamaran. Programs at the affiliated institutions broaden the scope of the teaching programs by offering extensive clinical facilities, special population settings, and diverse practice modes.
